Unpaid invoices

An invoice that is not paid on time turns overdue, and an organization that stays overdue gets suspended. Here is the timeline, so none of it is a surprise.

The timeline

Invoices are made on the 1st of the month. From there:

WhenWhat happens
A few days before it is dueA reminder.
Due datePaid by card: the default card is charged. By transfer: the invoice is Due until the money arrives.
A card is declinedIt is retried on day 3 and day 5.
Past dueThe invoice and the organization turn Overdue. A strip on every page shows the amount and the day access will be suspended.
Still unpaidThe organization is Suspended: read-only, resources kept.

The exact days are set per plan and shown in the cabinet; the strip always names the date that applies to you. The cabinet warns you 7 days before each step.

Pay it

Pay now on the strip, on Overview or in Billing & plan › Invoices. With a default card on file it asks once — Pay $12.34 with Visa •••• 4242 — and charges it. Without one it opens Stripe's page for the invoice. The moment it is paid, the strip goes and a suspended organization opens again.

Paying by transfer

Quote the invoice number. Transfers take a day or two to arrive; the invoice stays open until they do. Running late? Write to support before the due date — it is much easier to sort out then.
